The Outsiders: Comparing The Book And Movie

The Outsiders
The book and movie about the outsiders was a very enjoyable story that had many events and funny scenes like the big rumble. The book was very good and explained the scenes in many details. I enjoyed the movie because I got to relaxed and got to watch some funny parts. While the book and movie have many similarities and differences, the movie was more effective in telling the story.

To start, The first comparable scene is when The greasers and socs lined up getting ready for the rumble. They met at the empty lot where the greasers and hoods met and the socs came in 4 car loads of socs. In the movie and in the book I heard that they were both talking smack and getting ready for the rumble. In the movie and the book I visioned and saw the greasers and the socs coming to the rumble and getting lined up in the empty lot getting ready. In the book It said there was no fire and I visioned no fire but in the movie there was a fire in the background. In the movie I saw trees in the background and they were playing dramatic music but in the book there was no trees and no music in the background. The movie was more effective during this scene because I got to see and vision what was going on so I understood it more.

Her father got beat up pretty bad and while he was in the hospital susie’s mother kisses and has an affair with the detective that is on susie’s case. In the movie it switches it all up and susie’s mother leaves…

In conclusion, I think that the Outsiders book and the Outsiders movie had many similarities along with a lot of differences that made the movie better than the book. From Ponyboy getting shoved to the floor or Dally pointing a gun at a doctor's face this book as a good general story behind it. Which makes this movie one of my favorite novels that became a…

The differences between the book and movie the outsiders The book was written by S.E Hinton. The book was a good book the boys each have each others backs they don't need anybody but each other especially not the greasers because they are mean boys who think they are better than everybody because they are rich boys who beat up greasers and they like to do that because they are rude bullies but the boys each have echothers back and they can hopefully protect themselves from the greasers. I think the outsiders was a good book if you wanted to know about true friendship when his ponyboy was drowning and johnny went to go save him and it meant that he had to kill someone for his friend but that shows a lot for who he truly is it doesn't matter…

For my film analysis, I chose to analyze the movie “The Outsiders” directed by Francis Ford Coppola and based on the novel “The Outsiders” by S. E. Hinton. In this movie, a gang of outcasts from the north side of town called the Greasers are always fighting against a rival group called the Socials, who are the rich jocks from the south side of town. The story follows two young Greasers, Johnny and Ponyboy, who aren’t like the others. These two see that fighting is pointless, but it’s just the way they live their life. The two boys get into a fight with some Socials and end up killing one.…
