I think outsiders are strangers if I do say so myself; is that what you think? This book is written by (S.E. Hinton) and the main character of the book is Ponyboy. Ponyboy is a part of the greasers which the greasers are a gang and everyone in the greasers are outsiders. I think you should buy this book if you want to learn some really good lessons in life. I am not going to say any of those lessons because it would be a big spoiler. Meanwhile, outsiders wear different clothes than insiders; it's a pretty major difference. Outsiders wear darker clothes
