Imagine not being able to walk on the streets alone without having the feeling your going to get jumped. This book is called the outsiders and this is a young adult fiction. There is a gang called the greasers and they are like family to each other, there is seven people in there gang, Ponyboy Curtis, Soda-pop, Darrel, Dallas, Johnny, Two-bit, and Steve. There is also and gang called the socs and they have a rivalry with the greasers. I have three main points that I feel was important in this book, the first point is the messages they send during the book like what statements and learning what not to do. The second point is about Johnny and how he is a hero and the last point is how Ponyboy feels about the socs.
