Dallas Winston. the toughest scariest Mean looking kid around one of the character of The Outsider is not that mean like everybody thinks once you've get to know him a few reason i say that are dally is never mean to ponyboy curtis johnny cade or any of the greasers if you are one of the socs you got some work to do to try to become dallys friend the reason i say that is when dallys good friend ponyboy was just walking around he got jump by the socs and he couldn't fight back because he was the only one it made dally mad because he wanted to be there and help out. but one of the person dally would mostly get mad at if the socs jump is johnny because dally really respect johnny and johnny is one of his best friend. one toughness is that he well fight if he has to like when ponyboy had said in The Outsiders by S.E Hinton(144) “since dally only had one harm to fight”. the reason of his toughness is nobody would want to fight a couple of people with one hand but dally could.

Have you ever came across two people who have opposite personalities but have so much in common? It does not seem possible, but it is. In S.E. Hinton’s novel, The Outsiders, two characters, Dallas Winston and Johnny Cade are very similar and also different at the same time. Joshua Davis used two noticeably different methods of development. The beginning of the text appears to have no chronological order. Davis begins the story by showing the reader the history of each major character in the story. This is beneficial to the reader because the story focuses on one character at a time, allowing the reader time to remember the characters and differentiate between them. Once the reader is familiar with the characters, the development of the text changes.…

For my film analysis, I chose to analyze the movie “The Outsiders” directed by Francis Ford Coppola and based on the novel “The Outsiders” by S. E. Hinton. In this movie, a gang of outcasts from the north side of town called the Greasers are always fighting against a rival group called the Socials, who are the rich jocks from the south side of town. The story follows two young Greasers, Johnny and Ponyboy, who aren’t like the others. These two see that fighting is pointless, but it’s just the way they live their life. The two boys get into a fight with some Socials and end up killing one.…

Everyone knows the great short story with the name The Outsider. But there is some debate whether the main character is in fact a reliable narrator. Throughout the story, the narrator clearly proclaims that he has lived in the castle for all of his life and does not remember anything else before that. The author even says, “I must have lived years in this place, but I cannot measure the time.” Then shortly after states, “I felt conscience of my youth because I remember so little.”…

Have you ever been pointed at with a flashlight in your eyes, and are immediately irritated and hope it would end. Well that’s how Albert Camus's main character Meursault feels in his novel the Stranger. Meursault, a detached and emotionless man living in french occupied Algeria, shows no care towards his mother's death, his “girlfriend”, and an Arab that he murders. While performing his careless everyday routines, the only emotion he shows is his feelings towards the sun. Even though he shows negatives feeling towards it, it does reveal his personality and thoughts, which illustrate his indifference to society.…
