But I feel like the reason why directors or writers may change the story they way they do is to attract the viewers more into the story . As the novel is very well written and is a very good read I would understand why they would make two remakes of the movie to the book. Yes there are some differences in the movie but they are more minor than what other remakes make there movies out to be . I would still recommend this book to others and also the movie if they enjoy the book and like to see it in a different

Why would movie producers change important parts in a book when making the movie? Why not make the movie and book the same? Mary Shelley wrote an incredible book that portrays Victor Frankenstein’s journey of creating human that became a monster and how it affects Victor and his family. The movie portrays most of the same ideas, but the director decided that he wanted the plot to be portrayed a little differently. The movie director focused more on making the movie more exciting rather than following the same plot as the book.…

And Then There Were None is an incredibly well written mystery by Agatha Christie, who has many great mysteries to her name. It is a book in which the plot literally thickens every page, where the opinions of the characters change with every new event, and the end makes one's jaw drop as he realizes how the murderer pulled off such heinous crimes. The way the book is formulated, with short sections in each chapter, allows for the tension to develop in a fluid, but creepy fashion. It is worth it to read the book just to see how great Christie develops the plot.…

As most people know, the book and the movie are always very different in very noticeable ways. What I mean by this is, in the books they have to say the most intriguing words to grab their readers attention. In the movies they can't just "say" the most intriguing words. They have to show them something to catch their attention, so by doing that they have to change the story line. A couple examples of this is the characters names such as Anthony Marston changed to Michael Raven, Justice Wargrave, Vera Claythorne changed to Anne Clyde, Philip Lombard changed to Hugh Lombard, Emily Brent changed to Elona Bergen, General Macarthur changed to General Mandrake, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers changed to Mr. and Mrs. Groman.…

A book to a movie; it will either be the most amazing thing to ever happen, or it will be the absolute demise of an entire fanbase. An author can stay with their train of thoughts through and through and build a fanbase. While a director has to live up to the expectations from an already published piece of work. Therefore, I go back to my first sentence yes a movie can change a book but still the director can try to stay as true to it as they possibly…

The story line remained the same yet some of the chronology has been switched around, the essence of the book remains wholly intact. In an effort to bring the book to film the most important chapters were recreated for the audience to finally see what they had visualized while reading.
