During the summer of 2013, Jarren made a goal that he would achieve solid straight A’s throughout his entire 7th grade year. However, the beginning of his Intermediate experience ended up being rather unpleasant, with his goal remaining unaccomplished for a time. He didn’t know the reason why this task was so difficult. As the bell rung for passing time, he exited his homeroom and quickly pulled up his planner to find where his period one english class was on the school map. After scouring the unfamiliar map, he was able to spot the class. Luckily, he made it there on time. As he took his seat, he noticed some of his former friends in elementary, and also saw new faces from different elementary schools. As the bell rung, the teacher introduced herself as Ms. Rosario. At first glance, Jarren thought that she was actually a good teacher and he would be able to improve his reading and writing skills from her. However, although he was not wrong about the improvement of his reading and writing skills, he did end up rethinking his thoughts of her being a good teacher.
