The Employment of Laziness In the twenty-first century, the two main classes of diligence are the people who work and those who are couch bums. Although video games and electronics have transfixed eyes at record rates for the past decade, there are still a significant number of people who understand a work ethic. What would help reduce the count of lazy ones so that they would learn to be hard workers, not living in a basement relying on government programs? The answer lies in the main difference between the two types of people listed above. The difference is that people who are employed at a younger age learn valuable skills for their lifetime earlier than people who are employed later and take much longer to learn those lessons. Employing young people can teach them the necessity of proper communication, the need for diligence, compliance and respect, and the importance of working for the future. First and foremost, employing people while they are younger will teach them the need for proper communication and how to properly communicate. It is arguable that the most vital point of any military operation is communication, and that is easily applied in life. If somebody is employed younger, he/she can be educated in these lessons sooner so that he/she can apply those lessons sooner and be successful sooner. In this manner, he/she can also use the opportunity to teach others lessons he/she have learned so that they too will become better employees. Because of this exponential effect, a multitude of people can benefit from simply one person who was employed young and learned the three valuable lessons in his/her career: the need for proper communication, the importance of diligence, compliance, and respect, and that one should be building up for his/her career and not staying
