When Allie takes Noah to meet her parents, Allie’s mother takes her to the bedroom and has a word with her. Allie’s mother tells her how Noah is poor and will not be able to give her the things she needs, but Allie refuses to listen to her mother’s advice and tells her, she loves him. Allie’s father then walks in and tells her that in the next two days she must leave to college rather she likes it or not.
