It’s not the same experience with online or e-books. It takes away from the moment, and the visualization. Online and e-books aren’t always complete and leave you waiting days or even weeks for the continuation. How am I to enjoy a story if I have to wait? It's like having an incredible dream and waking up right before it ends. Or listening to someone tell a joke, and someone interrupts it before the punch line. The moment is ruined. The magic of it slips away. That incredible feeling is lost in trying to remember what happened in the last chapter all those weeks ago. It take away from the feeling and the message. Every story has a message, something to learn or take away. It’s one of my favorite parts about reading about other time periods. The message all the way back in 18th century or in the next 3000 years can still benefit me in my life. Patience, trust, perseverance, ect. Through a character’s mistakes I can learn, and grow. I may not have to go through the same trials and tribulations as the heros and heroines, but the lessons they learn and teach are just as valuable as any from this
