The Nightmare That Came Alive On October 31th at 2:44 A.M., I just awaken from a horrifying nightmare. I am Magnolia Reeser, my friends call me Maggie, I have always loved haunted places, but my nightmare was a little too eerie. I never had such a strange horrifying nightmare, like this before. I was with my two best friends, Kylie and Akira. Kylie, always scared and never up for much entertainment, was already dreading the exciting trip planned. Together we walked through the corn field with our group, but we had gotten split up; so Akira, Kylie and I decided to set out on our own and find our way back. Akira was always the adventurous girl in the group, always taking risks and never listening to advice; she decided that she knew where we were going and became the leader. She began to run ahead and we lost sight of her as we followed her direction. “Akira! Please, you need to wait you’re too far ahead! Akira!!” Kylie and I began to scream …show more content…
I did not think much about the horrifying nightmare, I just dozed back off and hoped it would never actually happen. The next morning, I was honestly not worried about the nightmare, I just remembered it was frightening. Later that day, we all met at my house to get ready. We were going with another group of friends somewhere, we did not know exactly where we were going. We arrived at the destination, which did not look too spooky; and I was fine until they told us there was a massive corn field we were going to walk through just to reach the actual house. Then, as Akira disappeared, we heard the screams and saw

I heard the howls of coyotes and the hooting of owls through the midnight air. The whistling wind rang the rusty, wind chimes dangling from the old run-downed mansion. The sign above read “Muddy Creek Manor”.…

As I was contemplating my first move to resolve the situation, I knew that I would need an adult ally to achieve my purpose. My mother would have to be that person. We spent the first night of the trip in a motel in Donner, CA. The next day we continued our journey to the San Fransico Bay area, where my father had secured a job working for the railroad. A total of 9 years in Khoury league and 2 years in high school, so all in all I have been playing this sport almost all my life. Those 15 kids playing on that team became some of my bestest friends and greatest teammates to have. Most of them ended up being with me until we couldn't play khoury league anymore, and then only about 3 or 5 of them played school ball with me.…
