The Night Bookmobile by Audrey Niffeneggeris is a story about a girl named Alexandra who has a passion for books and reading, and it takes place in Chicago Illinois. During the middle of the night Alexandra is wandering around. Until she comes upon the Night Bookmobile. She noticed a man, and this man name is Mr.Openshaw the librarian. Then she finds her own diary in the library, but all the books there look familiar. Until she realized that they were all hers. The next day she went back to the same spot where the Night Bookmobile was before, but it never showed. She came across the Night Bookmobile again, but this time at a different location. This time Alexandra asked Mr.Openshaw if she could come along with him, but he said no. Years passed,

These things have something in common, because these are certain things somebody would write about in a diary. In this case Alexandra has a passion for reading. Reading for her is a part of her life. When she mentions love, passion, her childhood, a heart’s desire, and her being a reader they all are mention in the book, but each of these have to do with books and reading. The reason they have something to do with books and reading. Her diary is a part of her memory, because in the book she talks about her childhood and what kind of books she would read when she was younger. She read books about love, passion, and a heart’s desire in which I believe is good way to describe Alexandra, because she devotes her time to reading, and she has the desire to be a librarian. All these feeling, emotions, and memories are all like a diary, because a diary is where somebody would write about these things. She had a big desire and that was to work at the Night Bookmobile, but after being rejected twice she decides to take her own life. Her desire made her do the unthinkable. Just like a diary when somebody dies or no longer can write in a diary, it just stops. In this case her collection of books that were in the Night Bookmobile stop, because she wasn’t a part of the living
