The NHS may receive a whopping £116.4 billion, yet the mental health sector only receives a measly 12 percent of that and with 1 in four of us adults having one or multiple mental health issues, that is not adequate to supply the best health care Aneurin Bevan wanted for us all. Mental health problems are on the rise and people receiving medical assistance is at an all time low. There is an underlying issue that people who can cope with their mental illness will have crime related habits. Mental illness needs to be diagnosed and treated at a young age when they are developed to improve quality of life for us all. why is it not clear to see that CAMHS is the first step to a healthier population and by only receiving 0.6% of the budget just shows that it is a volcanic eruption waiting to happen. We must start providing more young people with treatment rather than the dismal physical entrapment of prison for their foreseeable
