Yes, all of them happened to appear in “The New Jim Crow;” however, some of these topics seem to appear less in “The New Jim Crow” as of now. However, I definitely believe that I will be able to find a lot more information later about these topics in the NJC when I start reading further into the novel. War on drugs is more related to me as a professional goal because here at UCI I’m studying Business Economics where I have seen a lot of people doing drugs business as their way to earn money; however, war on drugs is basically more of determination of prices in market and price guidance. Therefore, I have taken one class in economics that basically talks about the topics like war on drugs, inequality etc. Another topics that I would like to mentions is slavery. The society I have lived in there are a lot of slavery was happening where many servants had to earn money to feed their family since they have no other option left for them other than being enslaved. In addition, they were a lot of inequality in India for women and men especially in those traditional Indian families where men get to make every decision, and women have no rights to say anything against them as of before which was a very similar case in my family. Yes, there are locatable, measurable, and debatable based on an initial google
