When we are looking at animal testing we can see that with animal testing it has allowed the medical field too fully flourish. Without animal testing there wouldn’t be much medicines that would be available because of the fact that the FDA wouldn’t even allow a drug to be sold without testing for any drastic side effect. For example without animal testing doctors wouldn’t even know how much of a dosage to give to a patient, what side effect there are, and even if it would harm them more the cure them. Without animal testing there wouldn’t be any way for us to fully understand the drug. With animal testing doctors have been able to developed many vaccines for diseases such as polio, mumps, and rubella. Running medical experiment on animals allow scientist to determine if a medicine is effective in a much more efficient and faster way. Every animal has the right to live, there isn’t a hierarchy in which humans are at the top. Humans have no rights to take away a life of an animal just for improving their life. Humans and animals can be looked at as very similar in that they both feel pain. In an ad campaign to stop animal testing by Lush it depicts a women being experimented on as if she was a live rat.
