Introduction In this digital era, the technologies had gone through such a big revolution that it had already integrated into part of our life. All of the personal electronic gadgets people use nowadays are products of current amazing technology. But, the most prominent gadget is none other than the infamous smartphones which every person including the most important figures have one. The majority market of phones right now are dominated by smartphones with touchscreen. Smartphones became popular when the first phone with touchscreen, iPhones were introduced into the market in year 2007 by Apple Incorporation. Smartphones addiction was found to be positively related to the compulsive usage of smartphones. It is found that majority of young adults will check their smartphones once they woke up from and before going to sleep (Lee et al, 2014; Ehrenberg et al, 2008; Jenaro et al, 2007; Koo, 2009; Meerkerk et al, 2009). According to Woyke (2014), mobile games aside, the main reason for people being glued to their smartphones all the time is online messaging applications. Young adults used to take a peek at their phones very frequently for messages and notification. As stated by Archer (2013), a staggering 20 percent of young adults in America are having sex and using smartphones at the same time.
