Self driving cars can have many impacts. You think it would ease the stress and just be a good thing but it can actually have many negative effects. There are many questions that you can ask about self driving cars and how they will not only protect you but also your family. Self driving cars are a risk due to people being able to hacking into your car, the weather being too much, and no human intuition.

The amount of skill and time it takes to control a self driving car is a lot...so imagine if the controls messed up on you. According to a passage, it states that “The cars are not able to operate at a high level of safety in all weather conditions. In fact, heavy rain can do serious damage to the laser sensor mounted on the car's roof, calling into question what role the driver might have to play in the event the technology fails.” How will adults or even teenagers take control of their car if the controls go out? The car is already programed to know when to stop, go, turn left, and turn right. But all the sudden it can't due to the sensor being interrupted by mother nature. So basically you’re good to drive unless the weather is really bad. Well I mean you can but your car may crash or malfunction. Those kinds of unpredictable controls in our society are not safe, especially with beginners and unsafe drivers.

They don’t have it to where you can just with the flick of a switch make yourself in control of the car. No matter what happens something bad will happen leading to someone getting hurt.
