Not everyone can truly be healthy. Even athletes who works out five times a week and follow a strict diet are still prone to diseases and health issues. Normal people like students who are not likely to work out or watch what they’re eating are more likely to have health issue than those who do. Anyone being healthy or not would like to improve an aspect of their health at a point in their life. Being overweight has been my whole life and I’m realizing that my age is getting to the point where being overweight can cause me my life. Being overweight is when your body fat exceeds 30% of your body weight. Overweight often happens to people who has eating disorders, don’t read the nutrition facts, don’t follow a calorie per day diet or is not involved in enough physical activity. Having an eating disorder leads to weight gain because food is being eaten for pleasure and not for energy. Most likely if people don’t read nutrition facts, they aren’t following a daily calorie diet either and that causes over eating. There is a difference between daily physical activity and intense exercising. Everyone needs at least three days of intense exercising per week to be in shape, but many people mistaken house chores and grocery shopping as an exercise which is why goals are not met and instead, weight is …show more content…
Weighing too much affects my lifestyle in the outdoors, work and every day activity. Growing up, I love hiking, hunting and fishing. Sometime getting to a good fishing spot or destination in the outdoors, there are obstacles that get in the way and in my case it is hills. Being overweight, it is harder walking upwards towards a hill and then feeling too exhausted to do anything when getting to the destination. At my past job, we have to walk for literally four to six hours constantly, and after a day of work, my ankle would be very sore, and I know it’s because of my weight.
