After her stories, I told her that failing in his class would harm my standing as a student in the school; however, she instantly responded to me and criticized what I said. She said, in a motherly tone, “Failure, at times, is a good thing. It helps people to grow mentally and try to improve themselves.” However, I dismissed the remark and left her colonial-style home and prepared for the upcoming holidays. After winter break, I walked into my new english class with my stomach hurting, actually it felt more like a person started to grab my stomach then started to twist and to squeeze it, and nervous enough that I kept clicking my pen unknowingly to distract myself. During the beginning of class two days later, I handed in my essay and Mr. Ware stated that it was well written and utilized more sensory language to strengthen the essay.
