Animals have rights, just like all humans have rights in any situation. Chemicals do not have a right to harm such innocent animals. Natacha supports cruelty-free cosmetics, which is animal testing that does not harm animals or use animals at all. He states, “People, not chemicals, have the right to be presumed innocent until guilty. People also have the right not to be experimented on without informed consent; no one has ever been given the opportunity to grant or deny their consent before being exposed to the [toxic] burden that contaminates us all” (Natacha). These suffering animals have no right to be treated like this. Scientists do not know what they are doing to these poor animals. There has to be some type of testing without harming these animals. Scientists should be willing to step up and take control of this situation before it turns into something terrible. Unethical means that it is mortally incorrect. These animals are being treated unethical by the scientists and companies that are supporting this type of testing. Alternative testing is still lacking in certain conditions, most companies may only use animal testing to fulfill certain requirements. EU states, “Companies may only use animal tests to fulfill data requirements as a last resort and must submit proposals for animals tests to ECHA for approval. The proposals are then made available for public comment for 45 days before a decision is reached” (EU). This described how unethical this type of testing is, scientists only use the animal to fulfill certain requirements for that test. EU also stated in an earlier article, “The animal protection organizations recently analyzed the success of the project that 50 animal testing proposals were rejected on account of the comments they made. In other cases, they supported companies objecting against certain testing requirements and were successful in at least 50 cases. The organizations estimate that their intervention activity has prevented experiments on 60,000 animals in the last five years” (EU). This statement described how some companies are actually having intervention on this

“If you want to test cosmetics, why do it on some poor animal who hasn 't done anything? They should use prisoners who have been convicted of murder or rape instead. So, rather than seeing if perfume irritates a bunny rabbit 's eyes, they should throw it in Charles Manson 's eyes and ask him if it hurts,” said comedian Ellen DeGeneres in My Point... And I Do Have One, her humorous reflection on her life. Though Ellen DeGeneres makes a hyperbolic point, she questions the ethicality of animal testing.…

One thing that is very arguable when talking about whether testing on these creatures should be approved, and continue or…

People, especially scientists, are hurting innocent animals that did no harm to anyone. Animal testing shouldn't be allowed to happen because animals are getting hurt, they are not protected, and animals get mistreated. One reason that animal testing shouldn’t be allowed is because animals are getting hurt. For instance, the Draize eye test involves rabbits having their eyelids clipped open for as long as multiple days so that they don’t blink the product being tested away. Popular cosmetic brands like L'oreal, Lancome, Estee Lauder, and S.C. Johnson are used on animals.…

This quote explains animal testing perfectly; “Many cosmetic companies test their new products and ingredients by forcing rabbits, hamsters, and mice, among others, to endure horrific practices such as breathing in poisonous fumes or having lethal chemicals poured into their eyes and rubbed into their skin”(Natasha Cole, Cruelty Free Cosmetics). Many supporters of animal testing will argue that it can have positive outcomes, however, humanity uses it in vain ways. This makes it especially wrong because humans are treating animals cruelly and inhumanely mostly to look attractive. Continuing on about cosmetic testing on animals: “Animal testing for cosmetics is an outdated practice and does not provide the most reliable results regarding the safety, performance, or possible reactions that cosmetic products or ingredients could have in a person” (Natasha Cole, Cruelty Free Cosmetics). The reason to continue these means of testing on animals proves to be no longer relevant because easier and more reliable ways of testing do indeed exist.…

The testing on animals is a very touchy subject. It makes people wonder whether or not its cruel to advance technology by killing innocent animals. Killing animals for testing has its benefits but it's still inhumane to do that to animals. It can destroy populations of animals if tested often and if every lab has its own supply of animals the populations will drop by extreme numbers. The animals that are tested on often get terrible treatment as the people testing on them know they will soon die.…

The reason they even do animal testing is because they think it'll be better than killing the person. However, animals are different than people; something could go wrong when they do the testing. They could react different than the human. After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…

Though I concede that in some situations, animal testing may be useful, such as in immensely important medical studies, I still maintain that it is unnecessary to make an animal suffer and be discriminated against. Although some people may think that animal testing is healthy and beneficial to humans, I believe that animal testing is unethical and utterly wrong because of the unfair repulsive treatment that animals receive from scientists. This topic is important because the world we live in is as much an animal 's world as it is a human’s world and right now humans are discriminating and enslaving…
