The pace of the growth of technology in education is a growing issue throughout the United States. The advancement of technology in the classroom is looked at as being a great and a bad thing. With technology growing throughout the United States itself, it means that technology is growing throughout the workforce, which will be beneficial for students to do the same while still in school. Studies have shown that it all comes down to the students to determine if bringing the technology to the classroom helps or not. Evidence has shown that no matter what the teacher or professor may think on allowing technology to be used by the students’, it all depends on how the students may react to it. It may be a quick adjustment or a overtime issue. Allowing the students to use newer technology will have positive and some negative effects. Students will be able to learn more about the technology that is constantly growing around, which will make them more tech. savvy. This will benefit them outside of school and possibly in the future when they are looking for a job. With technology growing so fast students are able to do just about anything to help them with school, allowing them to do things that students in the past could never fathom of doing. People are able to take classes from schools or universities that they may have never thought they could because of the cost or of where it was. Technology has done nothing but create opportunities to help people accomplish their goals. Yes, people may become dependent on technology, but technology is becoming more normal to be seen in schools and households all over the United States. However, allowing the technology to be use for educational purposes has more positive effects on students and even society than negative.
