Why do College Students get so Stressed Out?
College students get so stressed out, this is caused by college issues, relationship situations, and trouble with money. These are the three main points of why students get so stressed now a days. Any other those main points could get anyone stressed out, what really matters is how people handle the stress. College is so stressful to students because for some people it is the first time in their lives that they are expected to think for themselves. In high school, students only had one responsibility, which was just be respectful. In college there are so many responsibilities that it is hard to keep track of them all. When at home the parents took care of everything, their living expenses, food, gas, spending money, and financial, but in college students are responsible of money and the way they spend it. There is a lot of stress in college students, if their parents do not have enough money to send their children to school so now they make their children find the money to pay for college. College students normally take out a loan that cost thousands and thousands of dollars to cover the cost of college. College has never been cheap and it is gradually getting higher. Having a college loan is going to cause stress because once school is done, all the money will have to be paid back. Students are used to being able to be able to drive around, go where they want to eat, spend however much they want on clothing, or buy whatever they want because their parents paid for everything that was important. Now in college that is a totally different story, college students are trying to save every bit of their money. Students will walk around school instead of driving their cars so they save gas and will buy cheap food to save money for
