To begin with, college students always use their cellphones at night to relieve stress and have fun, but it has an adverse effect on their bodies. In our current generation, cell phone activity is rampant among college students. For example, an average college student would be texting their friends or using mobile apps late at night which can result in being tired the next day. When college students reduce their usage of their cellphones they’ll be able to sleep better at night and won’t be distracted. Further, as college students who use their cell phones less they’re able to reduce the amount of “blue light” they’re receiving. According to Harvard Health Publications, “blue wavelengths—which are beneficial during daylight hours because they boost attention, reaction times, and mood—seem to be the most disruptive at night”.
