The argument between whether or not children should have screentime, is flawed as a whole. As a child, as well as now being an adult, would use my daylight hours playing with a sibling, or friend. When it would begin to be dark out, it was time to come home. After it had become too late for enviromental play, I would choose between watching tv with family, movie alone or with sibling, or video games. Often choosing video games I must say, my ability to read and analyze situations was above my class. And as for the days of television, they kept emotional ties strong through bonding, and as well as keeping me informed and up to date on information and trends.
