There are several indicators that point out if a person is a procrastinator: Filling up time with unimportant tasks instead of doing what is priority, doing the easy things on a to-do-list, and waiting for oneself to get in the right mood or state of mind before getting started on a job are all facts that point out if an individual is a procrastinator. In “Avoiding-Procrastination.” The McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning explains that a common argument procrastinators tend to make is that they work better under pressure. Most people who believe that they work better under pressure have never actually taken the time to organize a task.(Avoiding Procrastination). In reality, this argument is weak because they cannot make a comparison under the circumstances of when they work best because they have not experienced organizing a task in the first place. They end up buying into the belief that the rush of adrenaline that drives them to finish their task is actually inspiration.
