They say that it is wise to persuade people to do things and make them think it was their own idea. However, mental change isn’t easy to take control just like what happen inside the story, “persuasion”. Characters are trying to shape the way of other thinking to what they think it work best. So, why is it so important for the characters to persuade one another when they know that the consequences that will happen to their life can be completely change? Initially, it happens to change the line of thinking of the characters so they could chose the right path. Even though persuasion has lots of positive effects, negative effects can be found through the problems of decision making by the characters through difference situation.

He’s been having a lots of persuasion from his friends like Lady Russell, she’s been writing a list to show what he should spent or not to spent on and reduce things he doesn’t necessary needed so that he could live in a great live once again. Also, he has got another persuasion from Sir Shepherd which persuaded him to moved to other town, Bath, so that he could learn to cut down his spending because if he moved to different town he will learn to cut down his spending and still be well known due to the reason that there’re not much to be spend on for example, perfect wine, cottage and horse like where he used to lived. “Naturally, it is difficult to make cuts here. But in a different place, in a house which may be a little less grand, it would perhaps be easier to make change,” state Jane Austen (2008).
