Calorie dense foods are farther from readily available than ever before and obesity is increasing rapidly. Even though fast foods contain high calories, people still eat them not caring about the negative side effects. In the article, “Supersize Me”, Alison Malik says, “ US’s obesogenic environment is one that societies through the ages have dreamed of tasty cheap foods” (15). Personally, I would be happy if fast food gets banned, but at the same time I would find it weird thinking there is no more fast food anymore. People will get crazy and probably rebel. While parents are aware of their children 's health and fresh foods, they are the one that brings their kids to fast foods. I have worked for fast food companies and I was shocked to see how parents with young kids come. Parents encourage their kids. People should be eating fresh homemade foods, especially kids.
