People who are bullied, experience poorer health and contemplate more on suicide. But others say that bullying can make a person stronger. “Bullying, although it is never acceptable nor necessary, it is not the be all and end all. In making the best of a bad situation the memory of these occurrences can be enough to make someone say to themself ‘never again’ and continue to strive for a better and more empowered life” (qtd. The desire of the bullied, Noel Estevez, was to defend himself from the constant beating he endured from Timothy Crump, the bully and the one who died, and his group. The bully was stabbed four or five times until he died (cited in “14-Year-Old Boy Killed Bullying Classmate Who Demanded Cell Phone Back”). Another incident of bullying-related killing happened in 1946, when two pre-pubescent boys, Jimmy and Donald, killed another boy, Michael, because they were fed up of him forcing other kids to do his work and even found it entertaining to beat them up whenever he desired.
