“The Necklace” and “Cinderella” Similarities
There are multiple similarities between the short story “The Necklace” and “Cinderella”. First of all, they both have a godmother-like figure. In “The Necklace”, Mme Loisel had Mme Forestier, where as “Cinderella” had a literal fairy godmother. Their godmothers are similar because they both gave them different materialistic items.
