The Nazi party was first known as the German Worker’s Party in 1919. Hitler first joined the party after the defeat of Germany in World War I, in 1919. The party was created the same year by a small group that included Anton Drexler, and Karl Harrer. The German Worker’s party was created to promote anti-semitism and German nationalism. Hitler helped get new members to the party and helped people turn and join him with his persuasive speeches blaming the Jewish people and Marxists for the problems Germany was having. Many German people agreed with Hitler’s beliefs and the party. Hitler soon became the leader of the party and renamed it “The Nazi party”.

and How did Hitler help the party succeed? The German Workers Party recruited fund and got money from Karl Mayr and Ernst Rohm to host and advertise their meetings. A lot of people would come and watch their meetings mostly just because of one person, Adolf Hitler. Hitler would be the one giving the speeches at all of the meetings. He wouldn’t get to the meetings on time so everyone would be so anxious to hear what he had to say that day. He would also build tension and help people get excited about the meetings and encourage them to stay and listen. The audience had a sense of expectation. Hitler was also very persuasive, so he would get people to believe that his ideas were good ideas. He persuaded the people to believe that anti semitism was good and that Germany needed it because they needed to blame someone for all that Germany had suffered for and in this case Hitler believed the Jews were the ones to …show more content…
In 1920, Hitler officially became a part of the party. Also in that year, he designed a flag for the German Workers Party and renamed the group. Hitler was a great influence on the german people, however also a great influence on the members of the party. The flag hitler had created for the party consisted of a red background, a white circle in the middle and a black swastika. Hitler later on ordered everyone in the party to wear a little replica of the flag that he created for the group on their upper arm. This was called an armlet. Everyone to represent the group decided to wear it. HItler said that no one recognized the flag, which made it special because that meant that the German and Jewish people would understand what the flag stood up for and they wouldn't confuse it with another flag. The swastika placed in the middle of the flag represented the struggle for victory of the Aryan mankind and at the same time it meant the triumph of the ideal of creative work which it is itself anti
