Readers can sympathize with him and can relate to an extent as to his ambitiousness and how he is willing to go so far to get what he wants. He is torn inside as to whether he should commit the wrong action but essentially get he wants, or to do the right thing and simply sit back and wait. It is definitely more tempting for the majority of people to take matters into their hands and get what they want themselves. Since readers tend to sympathize with Macbeth, it becomes slightly difficult to despise him. One can often catch themselves even feeling sorry for Macbeth, after reading his soliloquies, where his true emotions are spilled and his demons come out of
