As you know, The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) has come under critical examinations due to increase in the cost of public schools around the whole country. The National School Lunch Program is promoted by Michelle Obama, who is the first lady of the United States of America. This research will cover areas of this topic like how the National School Lunch Program affects a school’s budget, benefits of the National School Lunch Program, some concerns with the National School Lunch Program, and if the benefits outweigh the cost. There will also be material about my own opinion on this topic. As I said, there will be material about my own opinion on this topic. I think that the National School Lunch Program affects the school budget because Michelle Obama has made a rule that mostly all schools have to have healthier lunches. This affects the school budgets because to make the healthier lunches the school has to buy expensive ingredients. In conclusion, they have to charge the students a higher price for lunch in order to buy the costly ingredients. I also feel that the new guidelines are worthless because all the hard work and money used to prepare these school lunches are going to waste. The students buy the extra part of the lunch because they are forced to get it and end up not even eating that part of the lunch.
