The National Football Leagues issues out a concussion policy document to every single professional football athlete. The document states that all professional athletes must complete an examination given by doctors at the beginning of training camp. The exam that is given is associated with the neuropsychological test. During this procedure the athlete is required to list any medical condition prior to the season and previous incidents that they have experienced.
