The National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH) began in 1981 is a national network of people who are currently experiencing or who have experienced homelessness. It has a single mission: To prevent, end and protect homelessness and their civil rights while supporting the needs of those experiencing homelessness. It is our objective to cultivate the message of the National Coalition for the Homeless to spread significance of the care around the U.S, make the systemic and attitudinal changes important to avoid and end homelessness.

NCH wants its audience to raise awareness about issues surrounding homelessness and create change through action by encouraging audience to engage to make a difference in this population. According to a study done by the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty said approximately 3.5 million people are experiencing homelessness. Many people seem to respond positively to support and volunteer for NCH as their support, volunteer options are variety and even little help can support a lot without a burden. ("Taking Action." In addition, young people can do to organize service events at their school or in their community by participating events of many volunteering services.
NCH enjoys strong standing amongst American due to affiliation with ending homelessness movement and they have prior experience with extensive expertise in donation, advocacy, and variety of campaigns. Employees will visit schools, faith community and gather participants while they are spreading the message of NCH. Thy can develop personal awareness about the realities of homelessness. Since it is a volunteer program, people are willing to empty their wallet and time. However, we will support some amount of budget for the appreciation, which will gather motivation of participants’ and others.
