Editing and finalizing documents, Internal and External docket deadlines, maintaining databases including those for agreements and watch notices, coordinating meetings and maintaining a calendar for the deputy general counsel in specific including the trademark group, handle research in trademark and handling purchase orders & invoices that code for the Finance department (MLB, n.d.)
Requirements
Just like any other job out there it comes with requirements that need to be met by the candidate. Administrative Assistant requires to have a bachelor`s degree and have a minimum of four years of administrative assistant experience, or having an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent computer aptitude and knowledge of MS Office Suite is a major key. The ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and having excellent interpersonal skills is a major key. The accuracy and attention to detail is a must, and prior experience with trademarks is a significant plus (MLB, n.d.).
