The “Yellow Wallpaper” is written in a first person point of view. It makes the story extremely interesting. The narrator name tells the story from a room, where she is being isolated “rest cure” for depression. At the beginning of the story, she seems to be submissive accepting the treatment her husband has chosen for her. However, by the end she is indignant. The narrator’s journey focuses on her own thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. The first person point of view helps the readers to understand from the main character’s thoughts. The narrator kept complaining how her husband didn’t care about her, he ignored her. In my opinion, without her descriptions, we wouldn’t see the full picture, she helped us, the readers to have a good idea
