In the last chapter of the book, Brooks reminds the reader that software engineering is a very challenging activity, which requires a lot of effort and time. To summarize, I think that “The Mythical Man Month” is a highly informative and absorbing book. The author clearly explains what the difference between software engineering and building processes is. The whole process of programming is longer and more tedious. People who work in this industry often underestimate the complexity and time required for the projects, which makes the work longer than it actually should be.
