Extraterrestrial Life

The Extraterrestrial, beings that are said to be from another world. The galaxy that humanity lives in is said to be endless, with the vastness of space so grand that no man shall ever reach its end. What inhabits this vastness of space, humanity. However, there has been a long mention of life beside humanity. Space has a vast history filled with fact and fiction. The thought of beings beside humanity seems like foolishness to some, but to others it is almost a certainty. There has many speculations on if life on mars exist over the course of history. From false radio schemes that cause people to believe aliens are coming, to the looney toons martians Martin, and to modern science launching space probes to mars 's surface. Mars definitely matters, and findings on it are only increasing its popularity. Mars, however does remain a mystery lead scientist Michael Mayer stated “its possible we don’t understand something that’s going on in the Martian atmosphere.” (Achenbach) Michael stated this after speaking after describing his teams search for methane on the planet. The methane was described as by Michael Mumma as “ephemeral- now you see it, now you don’t.” (Achenbach) However, despite the lack of methane on mars it does not rule out the possibility of other key substances on mars. In fact a mars rover name Curiosity found samples of ground rock that contained water. Nasa stated that the water was "so benign and supportive of life that probably if this water was around and you had been on the planet, you would have been able to drink it”(Spotts). Water is a key building block in life, it supports almost everything on earth as mankind knows it. So if water is a major component that supports life on earth, who is to say it does not or maybe did support life on mars? There are specifications however, and mar’s water may fit in. With the vastness of space that contains humanity 's own planet plus billions of others there is almost a grantee of life. As for life it may not to far away the Goldilocks zone still holds a number of discoveries that have not been found. As time advances so does technology that is a given, humanity will continue to advance. It will become smarter, being able to create device able to find heat signal of planets to possibly observe life, or be able to launch space telescope so massive that they can observe planets with potential life with ease, and not to forget to mention one day for certain there will be a way to travel to these planets. Even now organizations such as NASA are still researching the life that exist in space. However, space is a massive so findings will take time. Just the possibility of planets contain life alone is amazing. With over twenty five billion planets in the vastness of humanity 's galaxy, not to mention the countless galaxies that are still unresearched, and the micro life that may exist on Mars. The Extetaressial can safely be said to exist, though humanity may not be able to communicate with them now, the time will come when humainty and the extetraessial meet. Who knows? They could be watching humanity now. Waiting till the day humanity is ready to finally say

Thanks to its carved topography, researchers have always suspected that Mars was once home to several rivers, lakes, and perhaps even oceans. There has even been some speculation about the existence of frozen water deep beneath the ground. However, finding evidence of liquid water in the present day, has been a little elusive. That is why NASA's September 28th announcement that confirmed the detection of liquid brine on the Red Planet caused so much excitement. The first indication of the liquid's presence came in 2011 from high-resolution images captured by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), which has been orbiting the Red Planet since 2006.…

Mars could have once harbored life. Some conjecture that life might still exist there today. In the past, oceans may have also covered the surface of Mars, providing an environment for life to exist. Although the red planet is a cold desert today, researchers suggest that liquid water may be present underground, providing a potential refuge for any life that might still exist there. Several studies have shown that there is abundant water ice beneath the…

Additionally, I believe the same things about Earth, and it is difficult for me to imagine that Earth will ever show redeeming qualities that will allow us to contact other lifeforms in the universe without starting a war. These misconceptions are mostly from taking history classes, and learning about the conflicts that each nation gets into when trying to expand or gain better economic wealth. However, these misconceptions might help me, in that they “prepare for the worst” in case of conflict with…

The idea Earth is hurtling through space as the sole bearer of life, of myriad species who have come and gone through millennia, presents a lonely view of the universe. Conversely, if the universe is biological in nature and life is an eventuality given correct parameters, it’s difficult to ignore the absence of evidence. Considering the age and size of the galaxy, there should be remains of long abandoned settlements, if not other life forms themselves. Despite being unsubstantiated, there still exists a number of hopeful probability estimates for the existence of alien civilizations. One source of these estimates is the Drake equation, created by Frank Drake of SETI, in which the number of civilizations capable of communication is derived…
