The fact that the music video was intended for children is inappropriate and ethically questionable. Even though the message is positive, the vulgar language and offensive content should not be intended for children. Children are very impressionable, the content could possibly encouraging the behaviors portrayed, instead of discouraging them. I think maybe if the music video was solely intended for a older mature audience the video might have sparked less controversy. However, the fact that some adult viewers were offended shows the video would still involve some type of controversy.
