On the other hand, Malcolm wanted to know why Fleance was there and showed up without any warning. Malcolm felt as if he was being set up, so he went along with his gut feelings. A few moments later, Donalbain came down wondering what was going and suggested them to go inside to talk. Even though Malcolm was hesitant to let Fleance in, he told himself to stay relaxed. He knew Fleance was the only major problem at the time; he also thought to himself, if he killed Fleance there will be less he had to worry about. As they were entering the keep Malcolm went to his chamber for some unknown reason. Ironically, Fleance and Donalbain were heading to the throne hall. Fleance told Donalbain he wanted to see how elegant the throne looked. When hey finally reached the hall he stared right at the throne and walked over to it. He took a seat, Donalbain told him to get out the seat of the throne. Fleance sat there ignoring him acting as if he were the King of Scotland. Malcolm came to the throne hall and saw Fleance in his throne. Which triggered him to pull out his dagger and walk straight to Fleance and murder him cold heartedly right in the throne. Malcolm and Donalbain along with the messenger took the dead body of Fleance to the woods, where Malcolm buried
