Following this brief introduction is a summary of what I have learned in this course. The syllabus of the MPH 602 is based on 13 the MPH foundational competencies required by upper level public health professional in the public health arena to have a successful career. My eight weeks in this cause have certainly increased my knowledge of the public in its entirety and the course has also enlightened me as to how I will be able to use the fundamental principles I learned from the class to adequately serve the community I work for.
