I would like to reference and interesting factor in the South Sudan conflict “Peace talks between South Sudan’s warring sides have failed to reach a deal to end a civil war which has claimed tens of thousands of lives in the world’s youngest nation. Last week, the United States proposed implementing a United Nations arms embargo on South Sudan and new sanctions unless the government signs a peace deal to end the conflict” (South Sudan article). I feel that this is a great example to show how sometimes things may not always go as planned during peace talks.
