Then there was Officer Tom Hanson who was the most unfortunate victim of this pitfall. In the beginning I was rooting for him but by the end he turned into a worse monster than his ex-partner Officer John Rayan. After finishing the movie Crash I was surprised at how much of an emotional response I had to some of the scenes in the movie. I actually felt extremely uncomfortable throughout most of the movie because of the large amounts of violence and racism. Over the course of the movie I found myself falling into several pitfalls of critical thinking like Unwarranted Assumptions, The Either/ Or Outlook, and Double Standards.
