Reflection Of Music In The Movie: Amadeus Mozart

Amadeus is a film about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a famous composer and pianist. Mozart was born Wolfgang Theophilus Mozart. He was called Amadeus as his middle name, according to the internet, because he preferred the Latin translation of his Greek middle name. Amadeus means "love of God". The film tells the story of how Mozart became famous for his composition of music and tells a story of his life and death. The story depicted in the movie, is about Mozart and his genius capabilities to compose music, and is told from the perspective of his rival, Antonio Salieri. He 's admired his talent since they were young boys. He believes Mozart was chosen to represent God and his favor. Antonio hates Mozart for this. Mozart was quite promiscuous and vulgar in personality, and Anthony used his status to discourage people to hire him for lessons and commissions because of it. Mozart was so confident in his ability, he had no regard for what was expected as proper behavior and manners. He wanted people to recognize him for what he knew he was; the best composer, but most of all he valued his father 's opinion. He was highly recognized and praised by many. His talent couldn 't be denied. He loved music, it was his life, but he wasn 't a rule follower. He liked to write operas about scandalous topics, because that 's the types of things his music brought to life. Real, dramatic, and emotional music. Not old, boring, familiar music. The idolization grows into such jealousy by Antonio that he becomes obsessive with Mozart and his work, and he can 't understand why God didn 't choose him to share such music. He believed such talent should have been given to someone worthy like him. He wanted to be Mozart, but he truly believed Mozart was God 's voice in music, and he hated God for it. He wanted him back home for himself. Although Mozart valued his Father 's approval, he loved his life in Vienna. When Mozart 's father died, Anthony used the influence Mozart 's father had on him to ultimately bring him to his death. Anthony appears to Mozart in a mask his Father wore to a party while entertaining, requesting a piece of music written in exchange for money. Although Mozart made money, he had a tendency to spend more than he had. He wasn 't very practical. He lived large and embellished. Mozart, haunted by his Father 's approval of him, agreed with Anthony to compose the piece. Mozart didn 't know it was Antonio, for he believed it was his father 's spirit, and he began to poor himself into this piece of music. I think he worked harder on this piece than anything. It drove him mad. Between writing for smaller operas and writing such a personal piece, that he seemed to hold as some kind of final impression for his father 's approval, he drove himself to drink and eventually collapsed from exhaustion. Anthony pushed him to finish it, and used his influence and demons to do so, although he saw it was killing him to complete it. All Antonio cared about was his talent, not for Mozart 's wellbeing, and he wanted a piece for himself that I believe he would have used to take credit for.
