Mike’s Insights into his Grandmother being a Real Person In the story “The Moustache”, a character named Mike finds out that his grandmother was a “real” person after his grandmother thought he was her husband. Mike then realized that his grandmother had problems and regrets like he did. He viewed his grandmother as a life that happened long ago. However, he discovered that she a person “And then you find out that she’s a person. She’s somebody.” and also that they have difficulties in their life too “They exist outside of their relationship to me.”, so he learned that his grandmother isn’t just his grandmother but a mother, wife, and a person who had problems in her life. This reminds me a lot of my experiences when I think other people
