Since this hit was released, a big number of people have investigated the meaning behind the lyrics of this song. The purpose of this song by the Coldplay's vocalist Chris Martin and his band, was to motivate his wife after a hard time, losing her father (Ghosh). Thus, regretful lyrics can be found and motivational ones as well, which makes the song not just for a person who has lost someone but also after a breakup. By using lyrics about getting through trauma with the support of another person, after the loss of a loved one, “Fix Your” gives the listeners encouragement to vent the pain with the support of others or loved ones.

This, for most of the Coldplay fans, is another remarkable part, because it means that your beloved person or one of your dear ones will support, will be there with you to heal and cure all the pain. For example, if you are in pain, someone can heal you, so if we put this together with the song, you could be broken, but someone can come to fix you. Being this the main objective of the author, he gets to know his wife that he will be with her in order to face the tragedy that has been previously mentioned.

Undoubtedly, the song “Fix you” from Coldplay has been an inspirational, and motivational.
