The 3 Most Prominent Characteristics of a Human Service Professional
“Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you.” Luke 6:36-38 (English Standard Version Holy Bible, 2001) When we talk about the characteristics that should, and must have the professional dedicated to the human services profession, it will find that these are very numerous. Since the profession of human services is a like its name suggests, the services that are given to those who need them; from helping a teenage mother, to the help that could offer to those who have a terminal disease.
Interestingly, that in the human services profession, this is a profession where flexibility can be seen, and also that it is a profession in which day by day the professional faces many different challenges due to the large number of situations that clients have in their lives. That is one of the reasons that it is essential to understand some of the main characteristics that the professional in the human services field must have, and especially those who profess the Christian faith.
