Another warm day, everyone is enjoying the sun and beaches that California has to offer. Meanwhile Lieutenant James and the other officers of the L.A.P.D are working harder than ever to solve the increase in murders and missing persons cases. Lieutenant James had everything he ever dreamt of; a respectful position at the renowned L.A.P.D, amazing friends and a warm and cozy home. James was only 28 years old but had lived his life to the fullest, at the age of 20 he was stationed in Afghanistan and had been awarded the act of valor medal for his courageous acts.

A bloody knife was found near a murder scene where a woman was murdered in a very gruesome way. The blood traced back to three people including the victim that was murdered, another woman who fit the description and a man named Kevin Gates. But this was short of a celebration, another women was still in the hands of The Night Time killer. The victim was not dismembered like the rest of the The Night Time killers victims. Although there was no direct link to the Night Time Killer other than the victim fitting the description James instinct told him other wise. James got to where he is now by always following his instinct, that 's what separated him from the rest of the department. James had reimagined the crime scene and predicted that The Night Time killer lost control of the knife was stabbed by one of the victims, causing him to flee the seen.A few days later forensic reports came in and indicated that both of the victims were struggling and had wounded her kidnapper. This supported James theory that the women murdered grabbed the knife before The Night Time Killer got the chance to kill her she bled out and he put he kidnapped the other victim. Now that Kevin Gates was the prime suspect of this murder and the suspected Night Time Killer the LAPD had devoted their entire force into finding
