The Most Dangerous Game: Movie Vs Short Story

Getting trapped on an island called ship-trap island is a never experienced journey,whether it’s in the book or the movie. “The Most Dangerous Game” is not only a short story,it is also produced into a movie. While the movie and short story in“The Most Dangerous Game” had a same plot and similar events, they also have many differences such as the different characters,details and scenery.
Firstly, the difference of the movie compared to the story. In the movie Rainsford ended up on the island because of the boat Rainsford was on wrecked into the reef and the people he was with didn’t survived,so he was the only survivor,then he swam to the island,however in the story Rainsford was sailing on a boat and had heard a strange sound so he looked for it to see where the sound came from. While Rainsford was looking where the sound came from,suddenly a rope knocked his pipe out of his mouth and as Rainsford tries to reach the pipe,he unexpectedly fell in the water. After he fell in the water he swam to the island.Another difference is when Rainsford met Eve and her brother Martin when he arrived …show more content…
The first difference is when Rainsford was in General Zaroff’s chateau. In the story General Zaroff never let Rainsford to see his trophy room, however in the movie Rainsford snuck into General Zaroff’s trophy room and saw that it has a full of human heads and bodies. Another difference is how Rainsford found out about what General Zaroff hunts. In the story Rainsford finds out from Zaroff himself when they were talking, however in the video Rainsford discover it with Eve.They found it out when he saw Martin’s dead body in General Zaroff’s trophy room. The last difference is how Rainsford escaped the island.In the story it never said how Rainsford left the island. The only thing the story said was that Rainsford won the “Game” however,in the movie Rainsford took Zaroff’s boat with Eve and rode away and Zaroff
