In “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, there’s a movie and a short story.In the movie and in the story Rainsford and Zaroff has two different personalities.In the story, Rainsford is stronger and tougher than Zaroff, but it’s the other way around because Rainsford is a lot softer and nicer in the movie. Connell changes some things between the short story and the move. Maybe he was trying to get us to understand how every character has two different sides a caring and a stubborn side. Rainsford is like two different people in the movie and in the story, in the story he is self centered,focused,and determined to take down Zaroff. In the movie Rainsford is more caring because he has a lady with him named Eve,he is also unfocused because to him she is more important, and he is still determined, but maybe a little less and the watchers will realize as they continue to watch it. In the movie he is more worried about if Eve is ok! Another reason why everyone will think rainsford is less determined in the movie is because when he is running from Zaroff he does not want to jump in the movie, but in the story he has just a little hesitation and then jumps. In the short story and in the movie Zaroff is almost the same person,but a little different. In the movie his attitude shifts a little he gets more aggressive while hunting and in …show more content…
Rainsford,Zaroff,and Ivan has different attitudes and the setting of the story changes while watching the movie. There’s also many other things that change like weapons,supplies,and the way Rainsford got on the island and how he tried to take down Zaroff and the traps changes and the way he enters the house trying to sneak up and their bravery changes.
