The Most Beautiful Soul “It’s my soul that needs surgery, plastic smiles and denial can only take you so far then you break when the fake facade leaves you in the dark, you’re left with the shattered mirrors and the shards of a beautiful girl”. This quote from Pretty Hurts by Beyonce’ is one of Robin’s favorites. She is a former pageant girl and she knows better that anyone pretty really does hurt. On the contrary, her soul does not need surgery. Robin is a beautiful soul with a great personality to match. Robin is gorgeous, brown-skinned, with dark hair and eyes. She describes herself as friendly, outgoing and able to work well with people she doesn’t know. She is the eldest of 5 younger siblings, and said “I’m kind of bossy, but it’s because I want the best for them and I know what’s best for them”. From that point on, I knew she was family-oriented above all other qualities she previously mentioned. She is the 2015 Denise Huxtable. …show more content…
Her origin helped shape her by having a positive outlook on life. She loves to be surrounded by her family. “I didn’t want to leave my grandmother, its just me and her, you know”. Her grandmother is the most influential person in her life. She raised Robin into the young lady she is today and instilled important values and morals in her. Months ago In University Seminar, Robin read aloud her “This I Believe” essay and spoke about how when she was younger her grandmother would always stop and give money or offer help to strangers who needed it. Robin said, “To this day, whenever I am I given the opportunity I am always willing to help”. Her eyes glistened when she spoke of helping others. The experiences Robin shared with her grandmother, helped shape her into the lady she has become. She is selfless and would do anything to put a smile on someone else’s face.
